RAPTOR / BIRD OF PREY VIEWING AT ARUNDEL

A visit to look for birds of prey hovering and / or swooping over the Downs.

Please note that the walk will ONLY take place if the weather conditions are right.

BATTLE WALK AND SKITTLES SOCIAL EVENT 

A walk of about 3.5 miles around Battle. Meet outside main entrance to Budgens supermarket in Market Square, Battle. Bring picnic tea.

Following the walk, a visit to the Black Horse pub in Telham for Skittles.

STANDEN ESTATE AND WEIR WOOD RESERVOIR

A walk of about 3.5 miles through mixed woodland and farmland and along the Weir Wood Reservoir looking for Spring flowers and birds. A couple of steeper sections and can be muddy at times. Bring picnic lunch.

Directions: Go to East Grinstead centre, follow the brown National Trust signs to 'Standen'. Frre car park is 50 yards on the right after entering narrow lane towards Standen House (grid ref.: TQ387360).
